DESCRIPTION:Rogers Home Town Hockey Weekend - Saturday February 11 and Sunday February 12\, 2017\n\n\n\nNew Information:  Posters for Roger's Home Town Hockey are available at the Visitor Centre.  Please note: there are lots\, but please ONLY take what you are going to use so we can get as many out there as possible. \n\n\n\nVisitor Centre - 521 First Street West\n\n\n\nHours of Operation: \n\nM - F: 10 am - 4:30 pm\n\nSat: 10 am  -4:30 pm\n\nSun: 12 noon - 4:30 pm\n\n \n\n\nThe Town of Cochrane is the host of this event. The Chamber is a member of the organizing committee.\n\n \n\nOn Saturday Feb 11 and Sunday Feb 12\, the event will be focused at Spray Lakes Arena and its parking lot. There will be other activities in Cochrane (shopping areas\, Downtown Main Street\, Mitford Pond\, etc.).\n\n\n\nRogers Group also will be filming TV material during Feb 9 and 10 in Cochrane business areas for use on their Home Town Hockey broadcast on Sunday February 12.\n\n\n\nThe Kimmett Cup will also take place the same weekend at Mitford Pond and at Spray Lakes.\n\n\n\nPotentially there could be approximately an additional 3\,000-5\,000 visitors to our Town that weekend. This is a great opportunity to have people visiting our stores and businesses.\n\n\n\nREQUEST FOR ACTION:  The Chamber has been asked to help encourage businesses to assist in "Painting the Town Red" by decorating their store front windows\, etc in the colour RED (posters\, streamers\, etc) for the 4 days\, February 9 to 12.\n\n\n\nREQUEST FOR ACTION:  Let the Chamber know if you are going to participate in "Painting the Town Red" by emailing c.business@cochranechamber.ca!  Provide us your name\, business name\, address\, phone number and email address.  There will be two Chamber Yearly Memberships placed in a draw for all businesses who decorate and email us.
